Chapter 6 Test Review

The test will cover these topics. You will be tested in two parts. First part will have no notes and require you to complete selected areas of a Unit Circle. The second part you may use a Unit Circle that you provide. Good Luck!

We will be working on a Housing Project. The goal is to see how much a house cost and how much you need to make to afford a house.

Chapter 5.5. We will be looking at applications of logarithms tonight.

Chapter 5.5. We will cover solving logarithmic equations both algebraically and using graphs.

Chapter 5.4 and 5.5. We will look at the base change formula for logs and then solve more complicated logarithmic equations.

We will cover 5.4 today. We will spend time covering exponential and logarithmic properties.

Chapter 5.3. A quick recap of today's lesson (2/13). We talk about converting from logarithmic form to exponential form and back. Then using that skill, we will evaluate logarithms with out a calculator.

Chapter 5.2. We will cover some of the basics of exponential functions. We will also graph them using translations.

Chapter 5.1. We will look at the domain and range of a function and its inverse. We will also prove algebraically that two functions are the inverse of each other using composition.

Rational Functions Review

We cover how to graph a rational function. We focus on finding the domain, x-int(s), y-int, end behaviors, slant/horizontal asymptote, vertical asymptote, and hole(s) if any.
